" درجــة امتــلاك أمهــات الأشخــاص ذوي الإعــاقــة العقليــة للأمــن النفســي مــن وجهــة نظــرهــــن" The degree of ownership of the mothers of persons with mental disabilities for psychological security from the fact of them

هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على درجة امتلاك أمهات الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة العقلية للأمن النفسي من وجهة نظرهن، بالإضافة إلى الكشف عن الفروق في درجة الأمن النفسي بناءً على متغيرات جنس الشخص من ذوي الإعاقة العقلية، وشدة إعاقته، والمستوى التعليمي للأم، ومستوى دخل الأسرة، وقد تكونت عينة الدراسة من (157) من أمهات الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة العقلية، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي المسحي بالاعتماد على أداة القياس المتمثلة في استبانة الأمن النفسي، وقد توصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن الدرجة الكلية لامتلاك أمهات الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة العقلية للأمن النفسي قد بلغت (3.35) درجة بمستوى تقدير متوسط، وأظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً عند (a ³ 0.05) في درجة امتلاك أمهات الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة العقلية للأمن النفسي تُعزى إلى متغير جنس الشخص ذوي الإعاقة العقلية، وشدة الإعاقة، والمستوى التعليمي للأم. ووجود فروق دالة إحصائيًا عند (a ³ 0.05) في درجة امتلاك أمهات الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة العقلية للأمن النفسي تعزى لمتغير مستوى دخل الأسرة. وتُوصِي الدراسة بعدد من التوصيات أبرزها: تعزيز برامج الدعم الاجتماعي والعاطفي لأمهات الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة العقلية من قبل المؤسسات الحكومية والخاصة؛ لمساعدتهن في التعامل مع التحديات النفسية، والضغوط الناتجة عن رعاية أبنائهن؛ الأمر الذي يسهم في تعزيز أمنهن النفسي.
This study aimed to examine the degree of psychological security of mothers of people with intellectual disabilities from their own perspective, as well as to investigate differences in psychological security based on the following variables: gender of the individual with intellectual disability, severity of disability, mother's educational level, and family income. The study sample consisted of 157 mothers of individuals with intellectual disabilities. The study employed a descriptive survey methodology, utilizing the Psychological Security Questionnaire as a measurement tool. The results indicated that the overall level of psychological security reported by mothers of individuals with intellectual disabilities was 3.35, representing a moderate level of perception. The findings revealed no statistically significant differences (at α ≥ 0.05) in mothers' psychological security attributed to the gender of the individual with intellectual disability, severity of disability, or the mother's educational level. However, statistically significant differences (at α ≥ 0.05) were found in psychological security due to the variable of family income. The study recommends a few suggestions, most notably strengthening social and emotional support programs for mothers of individuals with intellectual disabilities by governmental and private institutions, to help them cope with the psychological challenges and pressures resulting from caring for their children, which contributes to enhancing their psychological well-being.
