مستـوى معــرفـة أمهــات ذوي صعـوبــات التعلــم باضطــراب ضعــف الانتبـاه وفـرط الحركـة في مدينـة مكـة المكـرمـة فــي الــمرحلــة الابتــدائيــةThe Level of Knowledge of Mothers with Learning Difficulties About Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in the City of Makkah at the Elementary School Stage

هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تقييم مستوى معرفة أمهات ذوي صعوبات التعلم باضطراب ضعف الانتباه وفرط الحركة، ومعرفة إن كان يوجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعود لأثر المؤهل العلمي للأمهات. ولتحقيق اهداف الدراسة اُستخدم المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وعينة بلغ عددها (94) أم لطفل من ذوي صعوبات التعلم في المرحلة الابتدائية في مكة المكرمة، ولجمع البيانات أُستخدم مقياس (KADDS) وهو من إعداد (Sciutto, et al, 2000) وترجمة (د.ختام القحطاني)، والمكون من ثلاث أبعاد وهي (المعرفة العامة، المعرفة بالأعراض/تشخيص، المعرفة بالعلاج) وقد تم استخراج دلالات صدق وثبات له وكانت مقبولة لغاية تحقيق أهداف الدراسة. وتم تحليل البيانات باستخدام برنامج الحزم الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS)، وقد أظهرت النتائج إلى أن مستوى معرفة أمهات ذوي صعوبات التعلم بالاضطراب كان منخفضاً على الدرجة الكلية والأبعاد الثلاثة للمقياس، وكان ترتيبها على التوالي (المعرفة بالأعراض/تشخيص- المعرفة العامة- المعرفة بالعلاج)، كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستوى معرفة أمهات ذوي صعوبات التعلم بالاضطراب تعزى للمؤهل العلمي في كل من بُعدي (المعرفة العامة والمعرفة بالعلاج) والدرجة الكلية وجميع هذه الفروق كانت لصالح المؤهل العلمي الأعلى إي كلما زادت درجة المؤهل العلمي ارتفع مستوى الوعي بالاضطراب. مع عدم وجود فوق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى للمؤهل العلمي في بُعد المعرفة بالأعراض/ تشخيص.
The current study aimed to assess the level of knowledge of mothers with learning difficulties about ADHD, and to know if there are statistically significant differences due to the impact of the educational qualification of the mothers. To achieve the objectives of the study, the descriptive analytical method was used, And a sample of (94) mothers of a child with learning difficulties at the elementary school stage in Makkah, and to collect data, the (KADDS) scale was used, which was prepared by (Sciutto, et al, 2000) and translated by (Dr. Khatam Al-Qahtani), It consists of three dimensions, which are (general knowledge, knowledge of symptoms/diagnosis, and knowledge of treatment). and extracted Indications of its validity and reliability then were acceptable in order to achieve the objectives of the study. To analyze the data, we used the Statistical Packages for Social Sciences (SPSS) program. The results showed that the level of knowledge of mothers with learning difficulties about ADHD was low on the total score and the three dimensions of the scale, and they were arranged in a row (knowledge of symptoms/diagnosis- general knowledge- knowledge of treatment). The results also showed that there were statistically significant differences in the level of knowledge of mothers with learning difficulties about ADHD due to the educational qualification in both dimensions (general knowledge and treatment knowledge) and the total score, all of these differences were in favor of the higher educational qualification. which means The higher degree of educational qualification, the higher level for awareness of ADHD. With no statistically significant differences due to educational qualification in the dimension of knowledge of symptoms / diagnosis.
