تحـديـات التـأهيـل المهنـي للأشخـاص ذوي صعـوبـات التعلــم فـــي المملكـــة العـــربيـــة السعـــوديــــــةChallenges of Vocational Rehabilitation for Individuals with Learning Disabilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى معرفة التحديات التي تواجه تأهيل الأشخاص ذوي صعوبات التعلم مهنيًّا في المملكة العربية السعودية، واتبعت المنهج النوعي ذا التصميم التفسيري البنائي، وتم استخدام المقابلة بوصفها أداة أساسية لجمع البيانات، وأجريت المقابلة مع ثلاثة من معلمي صعوبات التعلم في المرحلة الثانوية، وسبعة من مشرفي برامج صعوبات التعلم، وقد توصلت نتائج البيانات النوعية إلى وجود مجموعة من التحديات، تواجه تأهيل الأشخاص ذوي صعوبات التعلم مهنيًّا في المملكة العربية السعودية، منها: وجود تحديات متعلقة ببرامج التأهيل المهني لذوي صعوبات التعلم، هي: عدم وجود لوائح خاصة بخدمات التأهيل المهني لذوي صعوبات التعلم، وقلة الكوادر المتخصصة بمجال التأهيل المهني، وغياب التأهيل المهني في برامج صعوبات التعلم في المرحلة الثانوية، وتوجد تحديات متعلقة بالأشخاص ذوي صعوبات التعلم، هي: تأثير الإعاقة على الأشخاص ذوي صعوبات التعلم من الجانبين الاجتماعي والمهني، وأخيرًا اتفق المشاركون على وجود اتجاهات سلبية نحو الأشخاص ذوي صعوبات التعلم.
 The current study aimed to identify the challenges facing the vocational rehabilitation of individuals with learning disabilities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study adopted a qualitative approach using a constructivist-interpretive design. Interviews were employed as the primary tool for data collection, conducted with three secondary school special education teachers and seven supervisors of learning disabilities programs. The qualitative data analysis revealed a set of challenges affecting the vocational rehabilitation of individuals with learning disabilities in Saudi Arabia. These challenges include issues related to vocational rehabilitation programs, such as the absence of specific regulations for vocational rehabilitation services for individuals with learning disabilities, the shortage of specialized professionals in the field, and the lack of vocational rehabilitation components within learning disabilities programs at the secondary education level. Additionally, challenges related to the individuals themselves were identified, including the impact of disability on the social and professional aspects of their lives. Finally, participants agreed that there are generally negative attitudes toward individuals with learning disabilities.
