لقد أرسى الأکاديميون المتخصصون في مجال التربية الخاصة من خلال نتائج الدراسة الحالية القواعد والأسس التي ينبغي لمؤسسات التعليم العالي الحکومي أو الأهلي أن تتبناها في تعليم وتأهيل الطلاب ذوي الاحتياجات التربوية الخاصة؛ لهذا جاءت نتائج الدراسة الحالية لتؤکد أهمية وضرورة وجود سياسة تعمل على تهيئة بيئة التعليم العالي لأفراد هذه الفئة، وذلک بتوفير التسهيلات والخدمات المساندة، بالإضافة  إلى البرامج الخاصة حتى يکون بمقدورهم التکيف مع متطلبات مختلف مؤسسات التعليم العالي، ومن ثم تحقيق الأهداف التنموية المرجوة من وراء تأهيلهم، وهکذا وفي ضوء التوجه العام لدى الأکاديميين الذي کشفت عنه نتائج الدراسة والذي يساند نوعاً معيناً من التسهيلات والخدمات والبرامج الخاصة.
The academicians specialized in the field of special education have established the rules and foundations that should be adopted by institutions of higher education in the education and rehabilitation of students with special educational needs. The results of this study confirm the importance and necessity of a policy to create a higher education environment by providing facilities and support services, in addition to special programs so that they can adapt to the requirements of different institutions of higher education, and thus achieve the developmental goals of their rehabilitation, and so on .In the light of   the trends   of the faculty members  has revealed the results of the current study, which supports a certain type of facilities, services and special programs.
