هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على طبيعة أساليب التواصل غير اللفظي المستخدمة مع غير القادرين على استخدام اللغة المنطوقة من التلاميذ ذوي الإعاقة الفکرية، وفاعليتها في الارتقاء بمهارات النمو اللغوي من وجهة نظر الأخصائيات بجمعية الأطفال المعوقين بمدينة الرياض، جدة، ومکة، والمدينة المنورة، وحائل، والجوف. وطبق على عينة الدراسة البالغة (81) أخصائية، استبانة من إعداد الباحثان. وأظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن هناک استخدام واسع لدى أفراد العينة لبعض أنواع التواصل غير اللفظي وأساليبها، مثل الرسوم، والصور، والملصقات، والإيماءات، والفيديو التعليمي، واستخدام متوسط لرموز بليس، والحاسب الآلي، ولوحات التواصل الخاصة. أما أساليب بري ماک، وماکنتون، وريباص، وبيمکس، ويورکش فقد حصلت على مستوى متدن من الاستخدام من قبل الأخصائيات مع التلاميذ ذوي الإعاقة الفکرية. أيضا أظهرت نتائج الدراسة الحالية إن أکثر الأساليب فعالية في الارتقاء بمهارات النمو اللغوي للتلاميذ ذوي الإعاقة الفکرية من وجهة نظر الأخصائيات، هي الصور، وبرامج الحاسب الآلي، والملصقات، والألعاب التعليمية، والرموز المصورة، والرسوم التوضيحية، وأجهزة الصوت الاصطناعية، ورموز بليس، ولوحة التواصل، ولغة الإشارة، واللوحات الإرشادية. أما الرموز المصورة (ماکنتون ورموز ريباص) فقد حصلت على مستوى متوسط من الفاعلية، بينما حصلت رموز يورکش، ورموز بيکميکس، ورموز بري ماک، على مستوى منخفض من الفاعلية من وجهة نظر العاملات.
The present study aimed to identify the nature of nonverbal communication methods used with students who are unable to use the spoken language of students with intellectual disabilities and their effectiveness in improving the skills of linguistic development from the point of view of the specialists in the Association of Disabled Children in Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Medina, Hail and Aljouf. The sample of the study (81) specialist completed a questionnaire prepared by the researchers.
The results of the study showed that there is widespread use among the sample members of some types of nonverbal communication and their methods, such as drawings, pictures, posters, gestures, educational videos, and the use of the average of Bliss symbols, computer and communication boards. The results of the current study also showed that the most effective methods of improving the linguistic development skills of students with intellectual disabilities from the point of view of the female specialists are photographs, computer programs, posters, educational games, illustrations, illustrations, artificial sound devices, Sign language, and billboards. The image icons (Macanton and Rippas symbols) received an average level of efficiency, while the symbols of Yurch, BicMix symbols, and Berry Mac codes received low level of efficiency from the point of view of the female workers
