وعــي أوليــاء أمــور ذوي صعـوبـات التعـلم باضطـراب فـرط الحـركـة وتشتـت الانتبـاه Parental Awareness of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Among Students with Learning Disabilities

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستوى وعي أولياء أمور ذوي صعوبات التعلم باضطراب فرط الحركة وتشتت الانتباه، ولتحقيق ذلك تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي وتم توزيع الاستبانة على مجتمع الدراسة وقد بلغ عدد استجابات العينة (327) من أولياء أمور ذوي صعوبات التعلم بمدينة الرياض. تم بناء الاستبانة على جزئين، الجزء الأول للبيانات الأولية للعينة والجزء الثاني تكون من (29) عبارة، موزعة على ثلاثة محاور أساسية هي: مجال المعرفة العامة باضطراب فرط الحركة وتشتت الانتباه والخصائص (14) عبارة مجال المعرفة بالتدخل الطبي (7) عبارات، مجال المعرفة بالتدخل السلوكي والتربوي (8) عبارات. أشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى ارتفاع مستوى وعي أولياء أمور ذوي صعوبات التعلم باضطراب فرط الحركة وتشتت الانتباه وقد بلغ متوسط الوعي لديهم (3.91 من 5.00)، واتضح من النتائج أن أبرز مستويات وعي أولياء أمور ذوي صعوبات التعلم باضطراب فرط الحركة وتشتت الانتباه تمثلت في مجال المعرفة بالتدخل السلوكي والتربوي بدرجة مرتفعة جداً، يليها مجال المعرفة العامة باضطراب فرط الحركة وتشتت الانتباه والخصائص بدرجة مرتفعة، وأخيرًا جاء مجال المعرفة بالتدخل الطبي بالمرتبة الثالثة. كما أشارت النتائج إلى وجود فروق في مستوى وعي أولياء الأمور باضطراب فرط الحركة وتشتت الانتباه تعود لمتغير الجنس لصالح الإناث، عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية باختلاف متغير العمر بينما يتضح وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية حول مجال المعرفة بالتدخل الطبي باختلاف متغير المؤهل التعليمي. تم مناقشة النتائج وكتابة التوصيات والمقترحات التطبيقية والبحثية للدراسة.
This study aimed to investigate the level of parental awareness of Attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children with learning disabilities (LD). A descriptive survey method was used, and the questionnaire was distributed to the study population randomly. The sample consisted of 327 parents of students with learning disabilities in Riyadh. The questionnaire consisted of two parts: the first part was for the demographic data of the sample,  and the second part consisted of 29 items,  distributed over three main axes: general knowledge about ADHD and its characteristics (14 items),  awareness of medical intervention (7 items),  and cognitive awareness of behavioral and educational intervention (8 items).
The results showed that the awareness level of parents of LD students about ADHD was high,  with an average score of 3.91 out of 5.00. The results also showed that the highest level of awareness was in the domain of behavioral and educational intervention,  followed by the domain of general knowledge about ADHD,  and finally the domain of medical intervention. The results also showed that there were significant differences in the awareness level of parents of LD students about ADHD based on gender, with females having higher awareness scores than males. There were no significant differences based on age, but there were significant differences based on educational qualification in the domain of medical intervention. The study concludes with discussions on practical and research recommendations.
