هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة مدى استخدام معلمي/ معلمات ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحّد لتقنيات الحاسب الآلي في تعليم طلبتهم، وأيضاً التعرف على مدى الصعوبات التي يواجهونها، وسلبيات استخدام هذا النوع من التعليم مع طلبتهم، وذلك من وجهة نظرهم. وقد أجريت هذه الدراسة على مجتمع المدينة المنورة وشملت جميع المعاهد والمراكز والمدارس التي تقدّم خدماتها للطلبة من ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحّد وبلغ عدد المشاركين 74 من إجمالي 88 معلم ومعلمة على مستوى مجتمع المدينة المنورة وذلك بنسبة مشاركة بلغت (84%). وقد استخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي لبناء دراستهما الحالية، وذلك عن طريق تطبيق استبيان للوصول إلى النتائج. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن استخدام تقنيات الحاسب الآلي من قبل معلمي/ معلمات ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحّد كان بدرجة كبيرة، كما رأى المشاركون في الدراسة أن أكثر الصعوبات التي يواجهونها هو عدم وجود شبكة إنترنت في مقرات التعليم، كما عبّر المشاركون عن أن أكبر سلبيات التعليم بتقنيات الحاسب الآلي كونه لا يغني عن التعليم المباشر، وبخصوص متغير الخبرة ومقر العمل فلم يجد الباحثان وجود فروق بين أفراد العينية، بينما كانت الفروق في المؤهل لذوي الدراسات العليا، بينما وجد فروق في متغير الجنس لصالح الإناث في ما يخص سلبيات التعليم بتقنيات الحاسب. وقد أوصى الباحثين إلى ضرورة اجراء المزيد من الدراسات بخصوص الموضوع، إضافتا إلى اجراء المزيد من برامج التدريب للمعلمين والمعلمات ليتوافقوا مع تطورات التقنية المتسارعة، والاستفادة من الخبرات الأجنبية في المجال.

The researchers recommended the need to conduct more studies on the subject, in addition to conducting more training programs for male and female teachers to keep pace with the rapid technological developments, and to benefit from foreign expertise in this field.
