دراسة تحليلية نوعية حول أثر وجود الإعاقة لدى أحد أفراد الأسرة في زواج الفتيات السليمات A qualitative analytical study on the impact of a family member's disability on the marriage of healthy girls of the association

  هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف إلى آراء المجتمع عند وجود إعاقة لدى أحد أفراد الأسرة، والتحديات التي تواجه الفتيات السليمات في المجتمع عند وجود شخص من ذوي الإعاقة بين أفراد الأسرة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استُخدِم المنهج النوعي باستخدام المقابلات، وطوَّر الباحثان نموذج أسئلة تقيس أهداف الدراسة. وتألفت عينة الدراسة من (6) شقيقات سليمات لإخوة أو أخوات من ذوي الإعاقة، تنطبق عليهنَّ شروط المشاركة في الدراسة. وتوصلت نتائج الدراسة إلى وجود صعوبة في تقبل الزواج من الفتيات السليمات اللواتي لديهن إخوة أو أخوات من ذوي الإعاقة، بسبب التبعات الاجتماعية للإعاقة. كما كشفت الدراسة أن مجتمع الأقارب يسيطر عليه الخوف، لكون العامل الوراثي من زواج الأقارب يقود إلى إنجاب أطفال من ذوي الإعاقة. كما أظهرت النتائج أن وجود إخوة أو أخوات من ذوي الإعاقة قد ينتج عنه تحديات عديدة تواجه الشقيقات السليمات عند التقدم إليهن من أجل الزواج، ولا سيَّما عند عدم معرفة سبب تلك الإعاقة لدى الأسرة. وتؤكد الدراسة أن الوعي المجتمعي يؤدي دورًا مهمًّا في زيادة أو تقليل فرصة الزواج من الفتيات السليمات اللواتي لديهنَّ إخوة أو أخوات من ذوي الإعاقة. لذا توصي الدراسة بتثقيف المجتمع ونشر المعرفة والإرشاد والمشورة المناسبة للأزواج المحتملين قبل التخطيط للزواج.
The current study aimed to identify the views of society when a family member has a disability, and the challenges that healthy girls face in society when there is a family member with a disability. To achieve the objectives of the study, a qualitative approach was used through interviews, therefore, the researchers developed a form of questions that measure the objectives of the study. The study sample consisted of (6) healthy sisters of brothers or sisters with disability, who meet the conditions for participation of the study. The results of the study revealed that there is difficulty in accepting marriage for healthy girls who have brothers or sisters with disabilities because of the social consequences of disability. The study also revealed that the community of relatives is dominated by fear, since the genetic factor of consanguineous marriage leads to having children with disabilities. The results also showed that the presence of brothers or sisters with disabilities may result from many challenges that healthy sisters face when applying for marriage. Especially if they do not know the cause of the disability in the family. The study confirms that community awareness plays an important role in increasing or decreasing the chance of marriage for healthy girls who have brothers or sisters with disabilities. Therefore, the study recommends to educate the community and provide appropriate knowledge, guidance and advice to potential spouses before planning marriage.
