المهــارات المهنيــة المــؤهلــة للطلبــة ذوي الإعــاقــة الفکــريــــة لتمکينهــــم في ســوق العمــل السعــودي تصــور مقــترح Vocational Skills Qualifying Students with Intellectual Disability to Enable them in the Saudi Labor Market: A mixed methods study

سعت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على المهارات المهنية المؤهلة للطلبة ذوي الإعاقة الفکرية لتمکينهم في سوق العمل السعودي، وکذلک التعرف على کيفية توافق المهارات المهنية التي تُدرس في معاهد وبرامج التربية الفکرية مع متطلبات سوق العمل اليوم. تم استخدام منهجية البحث المختلط، وتحديداَ التصميم التفسيري المتتابع والمکون من مرحلتين: مرحلة الدراسة الکمية التي اعتمدت المنهج الوصفي المسحي، ومرحلة الدراسة النوعية التي اعتمدت التحليل الموضوعي لتوضيح وتفسير نتائج الدراسة الکمية. وقد تکونت عينة الدراسة من جميع معلمي معاهد وبرامج التربية الفکرية للمرحلة الثانوية، وجميع مشرفي العمل في القطاعات المشغلة لذوي الإعاقة الفکرية بمحافظة جدة. حيث شارک (151) من أفراد العينة في استبانة الدراسة، بينما شارک (20) منهم في المقابلات شبه المنظمة. وقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة الکمية ارتفاع تقدير أفراد عينة الدراسة لمهارات العناية بالذات، والأمن والسلامة، إضافة إلى المهارات المتعلقة بسلوکيات العمل، ومهارات التواصل والتفاعل الاجتماعي في بيئة العمل. وقد أسفرت نتائج الدراسة النوعية عن انبثاق عدد من الموضوعات الرئيسة تمثلت في (التخطيط للإعداد المهني، الشراکة مع القطاعات ذات العلاقة، التسکين الوظيفي، التطوير المهني). وفي ضوء هذه النتائج قدمت الدراسة عدداً من التوصيات، کان من أبرزها دمج المهارات المهنية في المناهج المقدمة في المرحلة الثانوية، والاهتمام بمواءمة ممارسات وخدمات ومناهج برامج التأهيل المهني بما يواکب احتياجات سوق العمل اليوم.
The current study aimed to identify the vocational skills qualifying students with intellectual disability to enable them in the Saudi labor market. Furthermore, it aimed to recognize how these skills, being taught in intellectual education institutes and programs, align with the up-to-date labor market requirements. The study used explanatory sequential mixed method design, consisting of the quantitative study which adopted the descriptive-survey approach and the qualitative study that used the conceptual analysis and interpretation of quantitative findings. The study sample consisted of all secondary schools' teachers of intellectual education institutes and programs along with all superintendents of running sectors in Jeddah. 151 participants took part in the study questionnaire, of whom 20 subjects participated in semi-open interviews. Results of the quantitative study indicated a high estimation of self-care, security, and safety skills for the respondents, besides the skills related to work behaviors, traditions, communication, and social interaction in the workplace environment. The qualitative results showed several key issues such as: planning for vocational preparation, partnership with the relevant sectors, job placement, and professional development. This study recommends integrating the vocational skills into the secondary school curricula, and harmonizing the practices, services and curricula of vocational training programs to meet the recent requirements imposed by the labor market.
