تحديات تشغيل الأفراد ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد من وجهة نظر أسرهم Challenges of Employing Individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder from The Perspective of Families and Employers
هدفت الدراسة الحالية الى الکشف عن تحديات تشغيل الأفراد ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد في مدينة جدة بالمملکة العربية السعودية. وتکونت العينة النهائية من (97) فردًا من أسر الأفراد ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد البالغين (16) عامًا فما فوق والمسجلين بسجلات وزارة الموارد البشرية والتنمية الاجتماعية ومراکز التأهيل الشامل والبرامج الحکومية، وتم استخدام استبانة من إعداد الباحثتان کأداة للدراسة. وخلصت النتائج الى وجود تحديات تعيق عملية تشغيل الأفراد ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد مرتبطة بالمجتمع وبالأسرة ومستوى تعليم وتدريب الفرد وأيضًا تحديات تتعلق بنظام العمل والوضع الاقتصادي بشکل عام. وقد بينت النتائج أنه کلما کانت الأسرة متعلمة وذات مستوى اقتصادي مرتفع کلما کانت أکثر اهتمامًا بحصول ابنها/ ابنتها من ذوي اضطراب طيف التوحد على الاستقلالية والعمل.
The present study aimed to reveal the challenges of employing individuals with autism spectrum disorder in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The final sample consisted of (97) family members of individuals with autism spectrum disorder, who were (16) years and older, registered in the records of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, comprehensive rehabilitation centers, and government programs. A questionnaire prepared by the researcher was used as a tool to conduct the study. The results of the study concluded that there are challenges that hinder the process of employing individuals with autism spectrum disorder related to society, family, the level of education and training of the autistic adult, as well as challenges related to the work system and the economic situation in general. The results showed that the more the family were educated and had a high economic level, the more interested in her autistic son / daughter obtaining independence through work.
